We often think transformation begins with correction. Jesus showed us a different way. Before He told the woman caught in adultery, "Go and sin no more," He first protected her from condemnation. He created safety before offering truth. That order matters. Truth without love can deepen shame, but love creates the space where truth can be received. God's kindness leads us to repentance, not fear or condemnation. Whether we're caring for others as leaders, parents, friends, or caregivers, people don't just need us to be right—they need us to be safe. They need to know they are loved before they are corrected. Love first. Safety first. Then truth can do what it was always meant to do: bring healing and transformation.
